Share&Charge goes California 2018-01-08T11:06:43+00:00

Share&Charge goes California

Together with our charging solution partner eMotorWerks we are bringing Share&Charge to California.

Share&Charge has partnered with eMotorWerks, a California-based charging solution leader that is revolutionizing the electric vehicle (EV) charging market with its JuiceNet-enabled smart grid EV charging solutions, to launch an invitation-only release of the Share&Charge peer-to-peer charging app. Owners of JuiceNet-enabled charging stations by eMotorWerks can share their devices with other EV drivers and get paid for it. This limited initial California release is first-come, first-served, so sign up today, if you want to participate!

Living in California?
This is how you can participate!

Drivers of Electric Vehicles

All drivers of an electric vehicle, that want to charge their car while on the road in California, can sign up to be the first to make use of the shared charging stations.

Participants of our California early release will benefit from free charging. The cost for charging at the residential charging spots goes on us during the pilot!

Just click on the “Sign up” button below. You will receive personalized information about program participation once you have registered.

Owners of JuiceNet Charging Stations

California owners of any JuiceNet enabled device, who would like to share their charging station, are eligible to participate. Currently compatible devices include:

  • eMotorWerks JuiceBox Pro
  • Aerovironment EVSE-RS JuiceNet Edition
  • Clipper Creek HCS-40 JuiceNet Edition
  • Nayax EVMeter / JuiceStation

Additionally, Share&Charge is compatible with eMotorWerks’ JuicePlug universal smart-grid charging adapter, that allows charging stations from any manufacturer to participate in the program.

Peer-to-peer EV Charging powered by Share&Charge

Through the app, residential and commercial owners of JuiceNet enabled stations can share their charging asset with other EV drivers in the network. Meanwhile, any EV driver can download the Share&Charge app to see available charging facilities on a map and navigate to the closest charging station. With a few clicks in the app, the station owner can choose the times to share their service with others and set the fee to charge visiting drivers.

The closed program will start August 1 of 2017. Users can sign up to participate for the program by filling out the registration form on the eMotorWerks website.

We are excited about testing our solution together with strong partners and having the chance to continuously improve our service through great collaborations with EV pioneers. We strongly believe in an all-electric mobility future, which must be fostered and supported by a sharing economy enabled network of all kinds of charging stations. Share&Charge aims to introduce frictionless and convenient solutions for EV drivers that enable a great driving and charging experience.
