We are pleased to announce that we are partnering with the University of Mannheim, a leading public research university in Mannheim, Germany. We are very excited that we have the opportunity to team up and further collaborate for a seamless charging experience.

Benedikt Kirpes and Christian Becker from the University of Mannheim have already established some great research on blockchain technology in EV charging with their jointly published paper titled “Processing Electric Vehicle Charging Transactions in a Blockchain-based Information System“.

Benedikt Kirpes further explains “The Share&Charge approach offers a promising solution to many unsolved problems in the EV charging space. We are happy to work closely together with the Share&Charge Foundation, because we believe in open protocols and research-driven technical solutions. We aim for fruitful joint research & development endeavors in order to make electric vehicles a success and together pave the way for a sustainable future of mobility”.

The upcoming EV Charging Economy requires a new way of ecosystem thinking and community building. We further invite individuals and companies around the globe to contribute and shape the future of EV charging economy with us.
